Those in need of a powered site get 10 hours a day of power but are not allowed to use cooking electricity appliances as power storage is minimal. Unpowered sites are scattered around the homestead where you get to choose which spot is best for you when you arrive. So make sure you come early and get to pick the best spot.
On top of the dune, waterfront sites provide a stunning image of the sunset while you bring in your own firewood or purchase from the office. Make sure to not have the fire on the ground and there is a strict prohibition on using wood from the farm as it comes back to life when the rains come; they are not actually dead. All sites have access to fresh drinking water, a camp kitchen equipped with a fridge, sink, barbecue, and gas, a coin-operated washing machine, flushing toilets, and solar hot, bore water showers. There is also an old shearer's quarters that can be admired while walking from your site to the toilets and showers.
