Quobba Blowholes

75 bitumen kilometers out of Carnarvon, where the sea has forced through and created caves and other spots where you can see erosion occurring with water being sprayed upwards by at least 20 meters, Point Quobba Blowholes campground is your unpowered wilderness escape from town, at a great price (free). Pitch your tent or park your camper amidst sand dunes and native vegetation, discover the Carnarvon Fascine Aquarium where a feast of marine life enjoy their perfect conditions, and night-gaze at the Milky Way in all its glory and lose yourself in the vastness of the universe.

Blowholes Campground is a basic campsite, so be prepared:

Unpowered Sites: Pack lights, chargers, and everything else you need to ensure you have night light and embrace the simplicity of off-the-grid camping.

Bring everything and respect the environment. There are no bins and you must take everything that you bring including rubbish.

Campfires Permitted (with Caution): Enjoy the warmth and ambiance of a crackling campfire under the stars. Always check fire restrictions and ensure your campfire is contained and extinguished properly.
