Redbank Gorge

Redbank Gorge is a hidden gem known for its dramatic scenery, cool waterholes, and adventurous spirit. The gorge is an ideal destination for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle and immerse themselves in the rugged beauty of the Northern Territory.

Redbank Gorge is famous for its narrow chasm and deep waterholes, making it a popular spot for swimming and exploring. Take a short hike from the car park to reach the gorge, where you can cool off in the refreshing water and marvel at the towering red cliffs that surround you. The Larapinta Trail, one of Australia's premier long-distance hiking tracks, also passes through Redbank Gorge, offering even more opportunities for adventure.

Basic camping facilities are available at two different locations: the Woodland and the Ridgetop campgrounds. Here, you can access toilets, fire pits and picnic tables. The Woodland Camping area also has free gas barbecues.

Advance booking is essential. $4 per adult, $2 per child.
