The spectacular Emma Gorge, natural wonder promises a refreshing escape of breath-taking scenery.
Getting here involves a challenging 1 hour walk through towering cliffs adorned with vibrant greenery. The path winds its way along the ancient landscape, offering glimpses of a bygone era. Partially shaded, the trail provides a welcome respite from the Kimberley sun as you journey deeper into the gorge. As you get closer, the terrain becomes a little more difficult but the reward is well worth it.
Reaching the waterhole, the landscape suddenly opens up to a 65 meter waterfall. While this is the main attraction, there is another secret for those with a keen eye. Hidden far right corner amongst the rocks is a natural hot spring. Keep your eyes peeled and see if you can discover this hidden treasure! Make sure you make it to Emma Gorge as 200 meters before, Turquoise Pool says hello along with the resident freshwater crocodile. Note, you can still swim here, as long as you don't annoy the crocodile, it should leave you alone.
