McLaren Vale Beaches

Pack your sunscreen, hat, and sunglasses because we are off to the beach because McLaren Vale is not just about the award-winning wineries, it mostly is, but there are some really good beaches here!

The big four beaches in the region include Port Noarlunga, known for the picturesque red sandstone cliffs and aquatic reserve with more the 200 species of plants and fish, Aldinga Beach, the best spot to play a game of beach cricket with the freedom of driving on sand and unwinding in rock pools, Seaford Beach, offering endless stretches of pristine sand with stunning views and rolling waves, Moana Beach, possibly the best beach in the area, perfect for experience and learning surfers, snorkeling, and is one of the few beaches in South Australia where you can drive on sand with a beach pass.

Maslin Beach and Sellicks are a little off the beaten path, making them hidden gems. Maslin Beach has natural beauty that can be sunbathed in the nude, Sellicks is ideal for surfers and photographers with a bit more space.

All the beaches in the McLaren Vale region are safe, clean, and open to the public year-round. Many beaches are patrolled by surf lifesavers during peak season, providing peace of mind.
