These world-famous dolphins have made a name for themselves by swimming to the shorelines almost every day for the last 40 years. You can come meet these playful creatures by arriving at Monkey Mia at 7:45 AM to watch marine scientists and their volunteers feed the dolphins 10% of their daily diet. This ensures the dolphins do not become dependent on the handout food and maintain their natural hunting behaviours. During the feed, you will learn all sorts of information and watch them in their natural habitat.
Don't stop there—get into the fun and explore different types of animals up close! Book the boat that leaves at 9:45 AM and takes you around what the locals call nature's aquarium for your opportunity to see dugongs, dolphins, loggerhead or green turtles, manta rays, and other amazing and endangered marine life. Get onboard with the only operator that has permission to interact with the animals in the exclusion zone. Remember to bring your swimmers and towel, as there’s a boom net that you will be jumping into! While we endeavour to look for wild animals on our Marine Life Cruises, there is an off chance that sightings may be minimal. The skipper and crew have many years of experience in Shark Bay and will use their strong knowledge of the area to find animals for you. Unfortunately, due to seasonal changes, our sightings will vary.
